Graphic Design & Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design & Marketing Intern to support our marketing team with visual content creation and digital marketing initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience working on real projects while developing skills in design, branding, and marketing strategy. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities

  • Create visual assets for digital and print marketing (social media, email campaigns, presentations, flyers, ads, etc.)
  • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement
  • Support brand consistency across all marketing materials
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and content ideas
  • Assist with basic marketing analytics and performance tracking
  • Help update website graphics or marketing collateral as needed

Facility Maintenance Manager

Position Overview
Total Seed Production is a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN.  We are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead our team and keep our seed production facility running at peak performance. This “hands-on” leadership role focuses on mechanical repair, electrical work, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily maintenance team meetings and operations.

   Manage equipment uptime, spare parts inventory, and vendor projects.

   Oversee department HR tasks (scheduling, feedback, and hiring).

   Ensure a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

2–5+ years of related experience (depending on education level).

 Strong mechanical, electrical and fabrication skills are a must.

Proven leadership experience

 Valid Indiana DL and ability to pass DOT Medical Eval.

General Requirements

  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and support multiple business entities.
  • Experience in ADP and MaintainX is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT Medical Evaluation.

Soybean Production Manager

The Soybean Production Manager oversees both internal and external grower soybean seed production throughout the growing season and coordinates all incoming bulk soybean deliveries coming into the conditioning facility. This position communicates daily with the Management Team to communicate the needs of TSP resources to help inspect, transport, discard and/or otherwise prioritize our soybean customers’ requests. 

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years experience, Associate degree with 4+ years, or high school diploma with 6+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Background in agriculture and/or manufacturing preferred
  • Strong communication skills with employees, customers, and vendors
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and support team success
  • Experience in corn or soybean seed production, grower management, or customer-focused roles preferred

Responsibilities may include: 

  • Attend and participate in daily and weekly management meetings
  • Ensure high-quality production and strong customer service

Soybean Production Supervisor

This position will be a part of our Soybean Operation and will work directly with our Soybean Manager and team. The ideal candidate should have previous background experience in agriculture and/or a degree in Agriculture or previous experience in seed or farm operations.  Training will be provided but the candidate must be a quick learner, willing and able to ask questions, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle many responsibilities. Excellent communication skills are a must and willingness to change and grow with the company.  Attention to detail and comfortable working with large spreadsheets to input data throughout different times of the year. Some additional responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Communicate with customers, growers, and suppliers daily 
  • Assist with maintaining customer supply inventory
  • Prepare product samples for shipment to quality lab
  • Assist in spring, summer, and fall field operations
  • Opportunity to operate farm equipment
  • Supervise bagging line operations and employees
  • Ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and quality standards
  • Monitor productivity and assign daily tasks
  • Communicate equipment, product, or process issues
  • Complete production reports and paperwork
  • Assist with equipment operation and preventive maintenance
  • Follow and enforce all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Serve as backup to the Soybean Manager

Qualifications include:

  • Associate degree + 2 years experience or 4+ years agriculture experience

Corn Production Coordinator

Total Seed Production is seeking to fill the role of Corn Production Coordinator. This position works closely with both the Corn Plant and Corn Production Managers on all related farm functions and administrative activities. During farming seasons may function as an operator, laborer, or both, but is always willing and able to do anything that is asked of them to create a quality product for our customers with an emphasis on completing a wide variety of tasks effectively, efficiently, and safely. 

Exceptional communication skills are required. Professional-level experience with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, is preferred. Previous experience with agriculture-related software and/or drones a plus. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of agriculture-related work experience; Associate’s Degree with 4 years of agriculture-related work experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle pre-planting carry-over samples and germs
  • Handle post-planting carry-over inventory
  • Is responsible for ending seed stock inventory and individual customer returns
  • Acts as 20-row planter tender
  • May need to operate heavy equipment of various sizes and/or weights

Harvest Driver

 

Total Seed Production is looking for a harvest driver to drive loads of corn and soybeans during peak harvest hours. Runs will include mainly day runs and possibly an overnight run occasionally. This position will be a part of the farm distribution team. Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs on a regular basis. Qualified candidates must have a current driver’s license and good driving record. This is a part-time position with potential to be moved to a full-time position post-harvest. 

Ag Equipment - Service Supervisor

Total Seed is growing again and seeking to fill a hands-on supervisor role overseeing the service and field repairs of our production ag equipment. An individual with high attention to detail, great organization skills and a mechanical background will thrive in this position! Daily variety of administrative duties associated with service work, supporting a team on the floor and hands-on equipment repairs will fluctuate as seasons change. This position requires professional communication throughout all levels of our organization and with vendors, customers and neighbors. Previous management or supervision experience is desired for this position; however, all qualified candidates will be considered.

Requirements for the position: Hands on experience in the troubleshooting and repair of agriculture equipment and heavy trucks required. Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, willing to learn and possess good leadership skills. Excellent communication and attention to detail with the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently is important.

Ag Shop Mechanic/Diesel Technician

Total Seed Production is looking for a qualified Diesel Technician/Ag Shop mechanic.

The qualified candidate must have:

  • Strong mechanical ability
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body, and mechanic parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck. 
  • Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on heavy-duty diesel trucks. 
  • Experience working on farm machinery/equipment and/or Semi Tractor/Trailers 
  • 12-volt electrical diagnostic/repair; DOT inspections 
  • Hydraulic system diagnostic/repair
  • Basic computer and record-keeping skills are needed.  

Other skills preferred but not required: 

  • Experience with GPS installation/operations 
  • Welding/repairing of farm machinery 
  • Ability to operate farm/seed equipment 
  • Heavy equipment operator.

Standard work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday but must be willing and able to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons. Having a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team is a must!

Production Technician - Farming

Total Seed Production, a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN is always seeking qualified applicants who have an interest in the seed business and agriculture.  Qualified candidates for the Production Technician position need to be willing to work hands-on and have mechanical skills, and ability.   This position may be part of our packaging operation, field operation,or involved in plant activities related to the production of corn and soybean seed.  We have both full and part-time positions available.  Our 1st shift work hours are 7 am to 4 pm and 2nd shift work hours are 3 pm to 11 pm.  Applicants must be willing and able to work both inside and outside during the different farming seasons and be knowledgeable in or ability to learn inventory control and basic plant operations.  Previous forklift experience preferred.  Experience in Agricultural a plus but not required.

Production Technician - Packaging Operator

Total Seed Production, a Corn and Soybean production facility located in Tipton, IN is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Production Technician – Packaging Operator. A Qualified candidate should have previous seed production and warehouse experience with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization, positive leadership skills and focus on quality. Duties of this position during our primary packaging season will be operating packaging equipment for either corn or soybeans. During planting and harvest this position will work with the field operations team operating equipment and performing general labor. Must be willing and able to work both inside and outside as the job requires. Previous seed packaging experience is required, and forklift experience is preferred.

Drainage Coordinator

Total Seed Production is a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to be responsible for our farm drainage. In this position you will be responsible for drainage planning and design; installation and repair of tile drainage; surface drainage installation and maintenance; fence row/ditch clearing and maintenance; preventative/daily maintenance and light repairs and ability to operate heavy equipment. An experienced candidate must have the ability to dig on grade; operate GPS and laser grade controls; must be self-motivated; able to solve problems and overcome challenges. 

Qualifications:

Minimum of High School Diploma/GED

Previous farm experience preferred

Previous machine operation experience required

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Basic mechanical/maintenance skills required

Production Technician - Conditioning/Treating

Total Seed Production is seeking an individual to join our team as a Conditioning/Treating Technician. As a part of our team, this individual would be responsible for the safe operation of our treating and conditioning equipment and is expected to perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed. Conditioning and/or Treating experience preferred but not required for this position.

 Basic Duties Include:

  • Operate and maintain seed treating equipment including drum style treaters, pumps, conveyors
  • Operate and maintain seed conditioning equipment including screen cleaners, sizers, color sorters, gravity tables, legs, etc.
  • Accurately mix seed treatment for seed application
  • Review treatment applications to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Perform and understand treatment application equipment calibrations
  • Follow all ISO processes and procedures and evaluate their effectiveness to help push for continual improvement
  • Take immediate corrective action for any product not meeting TSP and/or Customer quality standards
  • Maintain treatment product inventory
  • Monitor seed throughout the process to ensure it is meeting quality standards
  • Effectively communicate with all team members to maintain operational efficiency

Production Technician - Warehouse

Total Seed Production is a Corn and Soybean production facility located in Tipton, IN. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our warehouse team as a Production Technician. During shipping season this position works as part of the warehouse team in both corn and soybean operations moving and handling inventory. Forklift experience and previous warehouse operations experience is required. Willingness to learn inventory control and basic plant operations is expected. Must have the ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 60 pounds. During planting and harvest this position may work with the field operations team operating equipment and performing general labor.
