Technology Specialist
Total Seed Production is a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN. We are growing and seeking an individual who has a passion for troubleshooting and implementing technology across multiple platforms. This position will help maintain and update all facility communication and networking equipment/infrastructure, security systems, field deployable equipment, audio/video tools and more. The right candidate would have the opportunity to work with production agriculture equipment and help lead our Precision agriculture applications. This would include but not be limited to Trimble and John Deere guidance systems, Precision Planting technology, and more. Basic network troubleshooting and domain maintenance experience will benefit the candidate in this position. This is a very hands-on position with lots of growth opportunities!

Human Resource Coordinator
Total Seed Production is a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Human Resource Coordinator. The HR Coordinator will function as a member of the HR department and as an extension of the HR Manager. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed including customer service, record keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS data entry.
Skills/Experience:

Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.

Warehouse Supervisor
Total Seed is a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN. Due to the growth in our warehouse operation, we are adding a second supervisor position to our warehouse team! We are currently looking for an experienced individual to supervise our warehouse operation. This individual will need experience and understanding of warehouse operations and processes. Attention to detail and ability to handle problems quickly and efficiently. Qualified candidate must be self-motivated and able to take initiative, give direction, and lead a team. Previous supervisory experience is required with the ability to lead a team and communicate at all levels of the organization. Experience in agriculture is preferred but not required.

Warehouse Technician
Total Seed Production is a Corn and Soybean production facility located in Tipton, IN. During shipping season this position works as part of the warehouse team in both corn and soybean operations moving and handling inventory. Forklift experience and previous warehouse operations experience is required. During planting and harvest this position may work with field operations team operating equipment and general labor. Must be willing and able to work both inside and outside as the job requires. Previous experience with seed is a plus.

Production Agronomist
Total Seed Production is a third-party corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, Indiana. We are growing and adding a new position to our farm team. We are currently looking to fill the position of Production Agronomist. This position will be focused on equipment, technology, and operations and will flex between an office setting and farm operations. This position will be approximately 70 percent field work and 30 percent office work Previous experience in seed, agronomy, and/or research is beneficial. Training will be provided, but the candidate must be a quick learner, willing and able to ask questions, work in a fast-paced environment, problem solve, and handle multiple job responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, previous experience with agriculture-related software and/or drones, and willingness to change and grow with the company are important.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- A college degree in agronomy is preferred but not required with the right farming experience
- Extensive knowledge of plant and soil science
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Able to provide general direction to various team members
- Able to work as part of a team and possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills

Ag Shop/ Diesel Technician
Total Seed Production is looking for a qualified Diesel Technician/Ag Shop mechanic.
The qualified candidate must have:
- Strong mechanical ability
- Basic knowledge and understanding of repairing or replacing all structural, body, and mechanic parts of a heavy-duty diesel truck.
- Must be proficient with brakes, drivelines, and mechanical engine components on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Experience working on farm machinery/equipment and/or Semi Tractor/Trailers
- 12-volt electrical diagnostic/repair; DOT inspections
- Hydraulic system diagnostic/repair
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills are needed.
Other skills preferred but not required:
- Experience with GPS installation/operations
- Welding/repairing of farm machinery
- Ability to operate farm/seed equipment
- Heavy equipment operator.
Standard work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Friday but must be willing and able to work long hours and weekends during peak seasons. Having a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team is a must!

Production Technician
Total Seed Production, a corn and soybean seed production facility located in Tipton, IN is always seeking qualified applicants who have an interest in the seed business and agriculture. Qualified candidates for the Production Technician position need to be willing to work hands-on and have mechanical skills, and ability. This position may be part of our packaging operation, field operation,or involved in plant activities related to the production of corn and soybean seed. We have both full and part-time positions available. Our 1st shift work hours are 7 am to 4 pm and 2nd shift work hours are 3 pm to 11 pm. Applicants must be willing and able to work both inside and outside during the different farming seasons and be knowledgeable in or ability to learn inventory control and basic plant operations. Previous forklift experience preferred. Experience in Agricultural a plus but not required.
